Attractions –
We are so excited to have many out of town guests able to attend our big day! Atlanta has so many fun activities to do and places to see, so we hope you take advantage of our amazing city during your “free time” away from wedding events! Here are a few of our favorite things to consider doing while you’re in town:
- The Georgia Aquarium: Atlanta is home to the largest aquarium in the world, and it is definitely worth going to if you have an interest!
- The World of Coca-Cola: Coke was founded in Atlanta 128 years ago, and we have a huge museum to honor it’s birth place – you get to try coke products from around the world! The World of Coke is next to the Aquarium, and a lot of people do both of these attractions at the same time.
- Botanical Gardens / Piedmont Park: The Botanical Gardens is in Piedmont Park (our own “Central Park”) and is beautiful this time of year with most of their flowers / trees in bloom.
- Sweetwater Brewery: Atlanta’s biggest craft brewery is located approximately 4 miles from the hotels. Tastings and tours are offered on Friday from 5:30 – 7:30 and would be a fun thing to do for those guests coming into down the day before the wedding!
- Inside CNN Studio Tour: For a behind the scenes look on how the news is produced, the CNN Center offers tours throughout the day.
- SkyView Atlanta: Atlanta’s newest attraction – a 200-ft ferris wheel located in Downtown (close to the Aquarium, World of Coke and CNN Center)
If you’re interested in visiting The Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coca-Cola & the Inside CNN Studio Tour, the most cost effective way is to purchase an Atlanta CityPASS.
